Prakash B.S. Murthy
is an experienced entrepreneur and IT professional with more than 22 years of experience in business development and IT. Prakash cofounded and or successfully operated IT service companies Camsoft, Eurolink and Infodesk Manipal. Infodesk Manipal was bought out by M/s PCS, India adding to its GIS/GPS portfolio.
Prakash contributed successfully in various capacities as Founder, Investor, COO, Management Consultant, Business Development Manager, Program Manager, Business Analyst, Researcher at several organizations including IIM, Bangalore, IIsc, Eurolink, Infodesk, Washington Mutual, DEC, Sensitel.
Prakash’s areas of expertise include Software product design and development, Project Management, Supply chain Management, Business Analysis, Process Consulting, Simulation, ERP, RFID, EDI, Datawarerhousing and Business Intelligence (BI).Prakash also developed, operated and sold a small Bank ATM (private label) portfolio in Canada.
His current interests include commercial and social development projects in sustainable development in rural India especially focusing on Renewable Energy, Education, Health and environment and is currently involved in planning and developing a few key initiatives with like minded and committed entrepreneurs, management consultants and investors in India who are already working to make contributions to social and rural development.
