Rakesh Ashok

Rakesh holds an IMBA degree from Cornell University, The Johnson School in Ithaca, NY. He also has an MBA from Canada’s premiere business school the Queens School of Business, in Kingston Ontario. He completed is Bachelors from the University of Wollongong in Australia.

He has worked in both the United States and Canada and comes with specialized background in the financial services industry. He has over 10 years experience impacting profitability and streamlining operations in one of North America’s leading financial institutions. He has worked in areas such as Investment / Corporate Banking, Money Market Operations, Global Foreign Exchange, Derivative Product Operations, Precious Metals, Money Transfer, and Loan Operations. He has served as a strategic consultant to senior executive leadership teams in the areas of operational risk management, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, accounting/financial reporting compliance, and the implementation of new operational initiatives. He is equipped with strong IT experience and has successfully carried out new system implementations with focus in technical delivery, change management and service level IT controls.

Rakesh’s current engagements include, cross border due diligence and project finance. His interests lie in strategy, process re-engineering and in orchestrating business transformations to maximize operational efficiencies, improve productivity, and deliver bottom line financial results.
