The Business Practice School – a SIIPL Education Initiative….

Welcome to The Business Practice School from SIIPL – this is an experimental concept on enhanced Experiential Learning for students and practioners.

What is The Business Practice School?

This program focuses on enhancing the learning experience beyond classrooms and training and takes it beyond theory and case studies to provide a combination of a virtual learning environment as well as live field experiences to enhance and reinforce learning concepts for students and practioners. An Alumni roster helps learners connect with each other beyond the learning process.

How does it work?

The process starts with a simple registration which takes you straight into the experiential learning experience. A log book helps each learner track the progress. There are many types of activities that a learner can get engaged with such as review concepts & theory, check out related videos, attend a virtual class, listen to podcasts, write / respond to blogs, participate in forums, do self learning, check out books and references and register for field exercises.

The enriched experiential learning process

While not rigid in design, there is a log book for tracking self progress and associated tests for the topic / sub topics. The process allows learners to work on areas that they want to strengthen and practice as much as they want and also work with the course facilitator(s) as often as required. The expected interactions especially from a field learning perspective is expected to be at least 1-2 sessions per month for at least 6 months to effectively reinforce key learning concepts.

So, welcome on board and enjoy the learning experience….!
